A Growing Trend: Visitor Sign-In Kiosks, where visitors can handle all or part of the visitor registration process.
PassagePoint Kiosks are available in a variety of styles: floor standing units with customized graphics and choice of hardware; a wall-mount kiosk with many custom features; even an ADA approved kiosk with visitor sign-in at a convenient level for wheelchair users.
A kiosk with PassagePoint visitor management software guides visitors through the scanning of ID's such as driver licenses, business cards or passports, entering host names, taking photos if required, even the option of printing their own badges.
Some customers prefer to have visitors handle all the steps up to badge printing, and then the visitor goes to an attended station where special messages such as watch list entries can be viewed, access control cards and security levels assigned, and badges printed.
The kiosks include a barcode scanner so visitors can sign in with a visitor-e-pass that can be sent to visitors who are pre-registered. Customers can set up the interface so the entire sign-in process is completed by scanning the visitor-e-pass at the kiosk upon arrival. And, when the visitor leaves, the badge with its barcode, can be scanned for speedy sign-out!
NDA documents can be displayed on screen, and signatures captured with a signature capture pad. The signature becomes a part of the visitor's record.
Kiosks include touch screens, ID scanners, cameras, printers, signature capture pads, all depending on the customer's specs. Also, customized front panels include the customer's choice of artwork.
PassagePoint kiosks improve guard productivity and service to customers, as well as enhance an organization's public image.

PassagePoint GLOBAL Enables STOPware Customer to Easily Track Many Types of Visitors
A recent customer came to us because they needed to manage multiple groups of people visiting their site. They had specific systems in use for each category of visitor because there were different policies in place for each. For example, their Security Team would register a Contractor into one system, then have to open another system to register a Conference attendee.
They were able to streamline these processes by replacing their legacy systems with PassagePoint GLOBAL. Since Global can have a unique set of rules for each category of Visitor, they were able to utilize a single system to manage all types of visitors - Temp Employees, Contractors, Conference Attendees, etc.
This makes it very efficient for the Security Team. They only need to learn one system and many of the processes are now automated - things like; notifications to the host, which type of badge to print, which access level to assign, and checking visitors against Watchlists.
Visitors receive an access card which restricts them to specific areas within the customers' site. Since we integrate with the customers' access control system, access and security clearance can now be easily managed with a simple assignment at visitor sign-in.
