Did You Know?
Did you know that it's possible to perform a background scan during the kiosk sign-in process, even if no capture screen is included in the sign-in kiosk profile? This is useful when some visitors prefer scanning, while others do not, and you don't want every visitor to see a capture screen.

ASIS International Customer Interactions
It was so great to see so many of you at ASIS International last month. Although traffic was down compared to other years, we were able to spend time with resellers and current customers and got some great feedback. Here are some of the highlights.
Many current and prospective customers really liked the small footprint and self-registration features of the new desktop kiosk unit that we had on display.
The new Global platform was extremely well received. Existing customers not only could see a clear difference between the old and new platforms, but they also really liked the new interface. Our customers felt it was more intuitive and much easier to navigate for both visitors and administrators. Many existing customers are now planning to upgrade in order to leverage this new technology filled with many new product features such as:
- Control Center: Manage the logistics of multiple buildings or sites with the ability to isolate and view only information that is pertinent to each specific location.
- Data Screen Customization: Customize any data entry screen by adding custom fields, designating fields as required for entry, re-labeling names of fields, and removing or deleting fields as needed.
- Multi-Language: Configure viewing screens in English, Canadian French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and more — out of the box.
- Live Background Check: When entering a visitor's name or scanning their license, you can automatically run a background check against a live internet database.
- Type Ahead: Type Ahead feature, name matches appear as you type.
- Directory Linking: Additional records like the individual's photo, phone number and the department where they work can be quickly displayed with a single mouse click.
- Web Pre-registration: On pre-registration, an E-Visit Pass e-mail can be sent to the visitor and host for instantaneous sign-in when the visitor arrives. Each employee can see their upcoming visits and create new visits from past history.
