San Jose, CA (May 13, 2005) – STOPware, Inc., the leading developer of visitor management solutions for the electronic security industry, announced that the company’s PassagePoint® software version 4.5.0.2.148 has been certified with Lenel’s OnGuard® version 5.10.423 (with Hot Fix 3.0). With this certification, STOPware is now able to offer its customers integration between PassagePoint lobby management solutions and the Lenel OnGuard solution.

STOPware’s PassagePoint software version 4.5, developed for the PassagePoint Professional and Enterprise line of products, delivers a wide range of enhancements that provide an enriched feature set, greater versatility and unprecedented levels of visitor management. Features contained in the software include SecureView™, an innovative notification window incorporated into the main screen of PassagePoint v 4.5; a web pre-registration module for faster and easier navigation and list compilation; a directory add-on link to support LDAP protocols; rapid registration to quickly and easily scan passports, driver’s licenses and business cards; and a versatile badge design wizard to generate custom badges that can include 2D barcodes.
PassagePoint v 4.5 for the Enterprise product also includes the ability to integrate with large organizations’ IT infrastructures, geographic footprints and databases, including SQL and Oracle-based systems. For large deployments, the software can be remotely installed, configured and automatically updated in multiple buildings with multiple servers and workstations. Compared to other systems in similar environments, PassagePoint v 4.5 delivers verification and registration up to 30% faster.
According to Terschuren, data generated by PassagePoint v 4.5 can be utilized to trigger actions within the OnGuard platform, and vice versa. “The open architecture and standards of Lenel’s software product is of tremendous benefit to the OAAP partner by allowing virtually endless applications,” he said.
