Scalability

We speak more languages then anyone

Configure viewing screens in English, Canadian French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. You can install
PassagePoint Server and Client in any of these languages as well. Kiosk users can also select the language for sign-in. Others claim to have different languages, but unlike the rest that “hard code” languages, PassagePoint Global has its own localization tool that makes it easy to update so the product is always current. All languages run simultaneously across clients based on user account settings – a user at one location can use Spanish while a user at another location is using French all on the same server.

We have the industry first “Control Center” module allowing enterprise customers to have site-specific configurations worldwide

Manage logistics with the ability to isolate and view only information that is pertinent to each specific location. With a centralized
tool, you can configure special policies and settings to be applied for each location; designate users to only login at certain stations; create custom screens specific to a site; and design badges and print policies for specific locations. A single logical site map lets you conveniently track destinations and locations for easy operation.

Our user interface dynamically changes

Customize any data entry screen by adding custom fields, designating fields as required for entry, re-labeling names of fields, and displaying fields as needed. Screen features can be configured to dynamically change based on the category of the person. For example, if your policy requires tracking of contractors’ ID numbers, when you select contractor as the category it will dynamically display the ID fields designated as required before the person can be signed in. This makes the process self-explanatory for the lobby staff.

We provide live directory information with LDAP or ODBC/JDBC

Unlike the rest who only import directories, Global provides real-time, up-to-the-second searching across corporate directories.

Network & IT Support

Easily switch database to MS SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL. STOPware knows that many customers have a preferred
database and that is why Global was designed to be database agnostic.

The PassagePoint application server allows your IT staff to manage the system from a centralized location. The client software never has to be updated because the server manages all updates to the client. This saves your IT staff time when deploying updates or new releases. Global was designed to work on all types of networks – even large spread out networks where bandwidth is a concern.

Global optimizes all traffic into the smallest amount needed and uses secure client-side caching to eliminate redundant data
requests. Global allows multiple streams of data to be sent concurrently over the same network connection. This reduces
overall network load and greatly reduces network latency. No other VMS provides this feature.

We conduct “live” sex offender and felon background checks

Only Global gives you real-time searching against the latest background and sex offender databases. We use the services of
companies that are governed by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) along with other government sources to
obtain this data, thus removing you from liability of false identification.

Faster Visitor Processing

Global’s Web pre-registration module and E-Visit Pass help process visitors more efficiently

Every employee can pre-register their visitors with the Web Pre-Registration module. On pre-registration, an E-Visit Pass e-mail can be sent to the visitor and host for instantaneous sign-in when the visitor arrives. Each employee can see their upcoming visits and create new visits from past history. This makes the process faster, more accurate and a better experience for the visitor.

Global provides advanced features such as Type Ahead
and Directory Linking

Type Ahead feature matches names as you type. Additional records like the individual’s photo, phone number and the department where they work can be quickly displayed with a single mouse click. By selecting a match, you can recall an individual’s data from previous visits instead of having to re-enter or rescan. With DirectoryLink add-on, there is a real-time connection to the employee directory – just type in a few letters of employee name and the full name fills in.
